Dennis Miller's unique brand of comedy stems from his intelligent, yet sarcastic approach and persona. The Pittsburgh native got his start as a stand-up comic in clubs in New York and Los Angeles. Returning to Pittsburgh, he wrote, produced and appeared in the local "PM Magazine" show and hosted a Saturday morning show for teens. Miller found national fame in 1985 after joining the cast of "Saturday Night Live," where he became best known for anchoring the "Weekend Update" sketch.

Miller's big-screen career began with a part in the 1990 comedy "Madhouse." He also starred as Michael Douglas' co-worker in the thriller "Disclosure" and in "The Net" as Sandra Bullock's former psychiatrist boyfriend. In 2000, Miller was hired as a surprising and controversial choice as a commentator for ABC's Monday Night Football. Miller continued to work as a commentator in his own CNBC show "Dennis Miller," which debuted in 2004. The show ended in 2005.

The comedian and commentator has appeared as a guest or guest star on numerous shows including: "Boston Public," "The Daily Show," "The Normal Show," "SportsCenter" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Currently he's a regular commentator on Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" in a segment called "Miller Time." He also has a three-hour talk radio program "The Dennis Miller Show," on which Miller discusses everything from American pop culture to current events and politics.
