Fresh off their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the No. 1 selling duo of all time Daryl Hall and John Oates bring their music to Caesars Palace.

Daryl Hall and John Oates got their start performing separately in soul bands at Temple University in 1967. Their musical tastes were so similar, they were destined to come together. Once the two met, they began performing in bands together until they went separate ways a year later.

They met up again in Philadelphia, however, began performing together and came to the attention of Tommy Mottola, who became their manager and secured them a contract with Atlantic Records.

Hall and Oates had only minor hits before their first smash, "Kiss on My List," hit No. 1 in 1980; its follow-up, "You Make My Dreams," hit No. 5. Then 1981's "Private Eyes" saw two singles hit the top spot and, in 1982, their biggest single "Maneater" hit the charts.

In April of 1984, the Recording Industry Association of America announced that Hall and Oates had surpassed the Everly Brothers as the most successful duo in rock history, earning a total of 19 gold and platinum awards. In October of that year, "Big Bam Boom" expanded their number of gold and platinum awards, selling over 2 million copies and launching four Top 40 singles, including the No. 1 "Out of Touch."

The band went on hiatus after 1985's "Live at the Apollo." They reunited in 1988 for "Ooh Yeah!" Its first single, "Everything Your Heart Desires," went to No. 3 and helped propel the album to platinum status.

The duo was inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003. "Our Kind of Soul," which featured inventive renditions of some of their all time favorite soul classics was released in 2004. Hall and Oates had several television appearances including "Dancing with the Stars" in 2009, "American Idol" in 2010 and "The Voice" in 2012.

In April of 2014, Hall and Oates was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while Billboard Magazine has listed the duo as No. 15 on their list of the 100 greatest artists of all time. Their musical influences can be heard across all music genres as they are one of the most sampled artists of all time.
